Stress Management and Burnout Prevention for Instructors, Students, and Helping Professionals

Workshop Description:

Let’s face it, working in helping professions and educational environments can be extremely stressful, and can lead to severe burnout.  Some examples of related distress can be: severely challenged clients in acute crisis, experiencing vicarious trauma, fears of enduring airborne viruses and the evolving impact that comes with them, addressing changing administrative/staffing issues like absenteeism, turnover, or elevated fund-raising goals.  Other stressors can arise such as financial challenges, balancing one’s personal well-being and one’s family life needs with daily educational and workplace demands.  These are just a handful of the issues that if unattended, can lead to overwork, too many sick days, burnout, and/or position termination.
